Anyone who’s grown a pea plant is familiar with the way the vines grow in little curls, wrapping around whatever is nearby. Each tendril slowly moves in circles, dancing around until it finds something steady to grab onto and then it uses that anchor to pull itself up. In this series of farm clay wall pieces, I wanted to consider the relationship between the ornate and the natural world.
